  Dopo l'adozione del nuovo elmetto modello 33 nei magazzini degli arsenali militari erano rimasti molti elmetti modello 1916 . Con lo scoppio della seconda guerra mondiale vennero rimodernati ed andarono a proteggere la testa di tutte quelle truppe di difesa che operarono sul territorio nazionale . Troviamo questi elmetti utilizzati dalla Croce Rossa , Milizia Portuaria , Milizia ed Artiglieria Contraerea , Milizia Postelegrafonica , Protezione Antiaerea etc. Occasionalmente vennero anche usati al fronte dalle unita' di Artiglieria Pesante e Campale ( ho visto diverse foto del fronte Greco e Francese ). L'elmetto delle foto e' in perfette condizioni , usato pochissimo e completo di interno e sottogola originali.          € 300,00

    Following the adoption of the new helmet model 33, there was a large number of helmet model 16 still in army warehouses.  Following the breakout of hostilities in world war II, a large number of these was refurbished and utilized by all those defence branches that operated within Italy.  These helmets are commonly found in use by the Red Cross, harbour police, anti-aircraft  branches of the artillery and of the MVSN, postal police, air raid protection etc.  Occasionally they were also utilized by frontline units of field and heavy artillery (can be seen on numerous period photos of the Greek and French front).  The helmet is in perfect conditions, showing very light usage and complete of original liner and chinstrap. € 300.00
